As a pharmacist, Didi has spent her career on the front lines of our healthcare system. She will use that experience to create healthcare that is affordable and accessible for every New Mexico family, protecting quality of care, lowering costs at the pharmacy counter, and expanding access in the communities that need it most.

Didi will fight for New Mexico's businesses and workers, advocating at every turn to bring federal investments and programs here that create jobs, grow paychecks, and stimulate the economy. Prosperity instead of poverty.

Didi answers to the people of New Mexico, not party bosses in Washington. She will vote for what is right for our families and our communities, every single time, no matter who it upsets.

MEET
DIDI

Ndidiamaka Okpareke (you can call her “Didi” for short!) was born from immigrants who came to the United States from Nigeria in search of the American Dream after surviving the destructive and genocidal Biafran war in Nigeria from 1967 to 1970. Didi’s parents instilled in her the values of hard work, family, community, and faith in God. New Mexico has been Didi’s home for almost 30 years. She’s lived in Albuquerque since 1997, attending Sandia High School and graduating UNM as a proud Lobo!

 

In 2016, Didi became a business owner. She launched out on the gutsy mission to build and start her own company, Olive Tree Compounding Pharmacy. Throughout her career as a pharmacist, she’s witnessed the essential healthcare needs of New Mexicans.

 

The accomplishment Didi is most proud of is her family. Didi is a mother of three boys. Her children are her source of  pride and joy. She considers motherhood to be the greatest gift that God has ever blessed her life with. 


Unfortunately,  the same American Dream that Didi’s parents pursued and achieved is on the brink of extinction for our children and future generations. New Mexico’s political leaders, especially our federal delegation, have fallen in line with a radical agenda that prioritizes rhetoric over results. New Mexico is first in all of the ‘bad’ categories and last in all of the ‘good’ categories. We need experienced leaders that deliver more results, and less rhetoric–and Didi believes that if you want something done right, you need to do it yourself. She’s running for Congress to protect the freedoms, values, and opportunities that brought her parents to America so that they can be preserved for not only our children, but for all of New Mexico and generations to come.
